The Department of Anaesthesiology, Perioperative and Pain Medicine of Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital (PYNEH) provides a cluster-based anaesthesia, pain and perioperative service at PYNEH and Ruttonjee and Tang Shiu Kin Hospitals (RTSKH). Our service covers both elective and emergency surgeries, providing perioperative assessment and management to facilitate our patients’ recovery after surgery. Our department also provides a multidisciplinary acute and chronic pain management service, ranging from clinical psychology and physiotherapy to image guided interventional pain management.
The Department of Anaesthesiology, Perioperative and Pain Medicine of PYNEH is accredited for the anaesthesia training program of the Hong Kong College of Anaesthesiologists (HKCA), pain training programs of HKCA and the Faculty of Pain Medicine, Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (FPMANZCA).
