Community & Patient Resource (C&PR)

The Department of Community & Patient Resource (C&PR) has three Patient Resource Centres (PRC), named Cancer Patient Resource Centre, Nethersole Patient Resource Centre and Mental Health Resource Centre. PRCs provide four core services including empowerment programme and support, mutual support network, volunteer service and community engagement along patient journey. Social workers of PRC collaborate with clinical partners, engage community partners and mobilize community resources to work towards patient centred care from hospital to community. C&PR also manages Community Service Office and operates Rehab Shop in Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital (PYNEH).
