Being the only paediatric and adolescent unit in the Hong Kong East Cluster, the Department of Paediatrics and Adolescent Medicine
(PAED) in Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital (PYNEH) aims to provide holistic quality care to new-borns, children and
adolescents under the age of 18. PAED strives to accomplish our missions through efficient service delivery, quality patient care,
health education, collaboration with community partners as well as staff training and development.
Scope of Service
- General paediatrics and neonatology services.
- Other subspecialties: cardiology, endocrinology, nephrology, rheumatology, respirology, neurology, dermatology, gastroenterology, adolescent and behavioural paediatrics, allergy, palliative care
- Multidisciplinary clinics: Comprehensive Paediatric Rehabilitation Centre, High Risk Infant Follow Up Programme. Child Guidance Clinic, Adolescent Clinic, Diabetic Clinic
- Community Paediatric services: Outreach Services to Po Leung Kuk and Special Schools, Comprehensive Child Development Service, Children with Medical Complexity Support Programme
- Ambulatory Services: Neonatal Jaundice Clinic and Day ward services.
- Joint clinics: Combined Sleep Clinic, Joint Urology Clinic, Non-invasive Ventilation Clinic, Joint Care Clinic
