The Department of Speech Therapy provides assessment and treatment to individuals with communication and swallowing difficulties, and aims at optimizing individuals’ communication and swallowing abilities.

Scope of Service

  • Swallowing disorders
  • Speech disorders: articulation disorder, dysarthria, dyspraxia, cleft palate speech
  • Language disorders: developmental language disorder, language disorder associated with biomedical condition, acquired neurogenic language disorder
  • Voice disorders: dysphonia, laryngectomy and tracheotomy
  • Aural rehabilitation for hearing impairment: speech, language and communication training for patients with hearing impairment
  • Fluency disorders (e.g. stuttering)

Service Hours

  • Monday to Friday: 09:00 - 12:45; 13:45 - 17:15
  • Saturday, Sunday & Public Holiday: Closed.
