ECG Operation Instructors Recruitment

We are NOW recruiting Instructor for 12-lead ECG-operation course. If you fulfil the requirement and interest, please indicate which instructor you would like to apply (can be both) and send your CV & supporting documents to aetc@ha.org.hk by 24 October, 2025. Successful applicants will be notified and confirmed via email by 14 November, 2025.

Instructor for 12-lead ECG-operation course
12- lead ECG-operating course心電圖操作課程 (ECG-P):
  • Course Aim: to equip participant with the essential knowledge and practical skills required to accurately operate electrocardiogram (ECG) machines, troubleshoot issues during ECG procedures, interpret basic ECG readings, and understand the clinical significance of common cardiac rhythms. This course seeks to enhance participants’ competence in performing ECG procedures safely and efficiently, thereby contributing to improved patient diagnosis and care.

** Instructors who are successfully recruited are required to teach at least 1 session each year **

Entry Requirement:
  1. Registered Nurse or above who has ≥ 5 years clinical experience of operating ECG
  2. Hold relevant certification in ECG interpretation
  3. Fluent Cantonese and English
Preferred attribute:
  1. Teaching experience with strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with students
  2. Prior experience in conducting ECG training courses is preferred.

Revised the principal postage rates

Hong Kong Post has revised the principal postage rates from 26 September 2022.

Please ensure sufficient postage if the enrolment form is sent by post. Underpaid mail items with outstanding postage and surcharges will be destroyed by Hong Kong Post after 14 days of postage. AETC is not responsible for any outstanding postage or surcharge.

eCards Issue

From 1 SEP 2019 onwards, our centre will not issue printed course completion cards for AHA ACLS and PALS courses. For the AHA BLS course, no printed course completion card will be issued from 1 OCT 2019 onwards. Instead, eCards will be issued after course completion.

All participants should be aged 18 or above

For "Practical First Aid (PFA)" should be aged 15 or above and for "Basic Life Support and Automated External Defibrillation Course (AED)" should be aged 14 or above.
