The Accident & Emergency Training Centre, Hospital Authority (AETC) was established on 25 November, 1994. AETC is one the accredited international training centres of the American Heart Association (AHA), the Hong Kong Chapter of International Trauma Life Support (ITLS), and the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP) – Emergency Care and Safety Institution. AETC provides a variety of emergency medical training courses to all disciplines of the Hospital Authority staff. We organize various kinds of international programs, such as Basic Life Support (BLS), International Trauma Life Support (ITLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) for the medical and nursing professional as well as paramedics. Our centre also provides emergency medicine-related training to the government departments, non-governmental organizations, educational sectors and public.
