1.Instructor for VAB-N and VAB-P Venipuncture and Blood taking course for nurse (VAB -N):
Course aim: to equip registered nurses and enrolled nurses with the knowledge and skills necessary to perform IV access establishing and venous blood sampling accurately, safely, and efficiently
Venipuncture and Blood taking course for Public 靜脈穿刺及抽血課程(公眾班)(VAB-P):
Course aim: to equip adults with the fundamental knowledge, practical skills, and safety awareness required to competently and confidently perform IV access and venous blood collection procedures in appropriate settings.
** Instructors who are successfully recruited are required to teach at least 2 sessions each year **
Entry Requirement:
Registered Nurse or above who has ≥ 5 years clinical experience of setting IV and blood taking.
Fluent Cantonese and English.
Preferred attribute:
Hold relevant certification in IV therapy and venipuncture.
Teaching experience with strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with students.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated on best practices in venipuncture.
Prior experience in conducting IV training courses is preferred.
2. Instructor for 12-lead ECG-operation course 12- lead ECG-operating course心電圖操作課程 (ECG-P):
Course Aim: to equip participant with the essential knowledge and practical skills required to accurately operate electrocardiogram (ECG) machines, troubleshoot issues during ECG procedures, interpret basic ECG readings, and understand the clinical significance of common cardiac rhythms. This course seeks to enhance participants’ competence in performing ECG procedures safely and efficiently, thereby contributing to improved patient diagnosis and care.
